Not all celebrities need to relay on plastic surgery or layers of makeup, which is staggering all on its own, but have you ever wondered just how old your favorite actors and actresses are? After years of seeing them on-screen, I’m sure you’ve thought, they can’t be that old well some of them are older then you think. Take a look.
Alyson Hannigan – 42!
Having starred in How I Met Your Mother, American Pie, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to name just a few, Alyson Hannigan is on fire! That’s why it is so hard to believe that she’s actually 42 years old now, she certainly doesn’t look it, with her looks, she could open up a weight loss program center and make tons.
Angela Bassett – 58!
So far, Bassett has won a Golden Globe Award, numerous Image Awards, and a Saturn Awards plus she is a graduate of Yale University and its drama school. Needless to say, she’s pretty darn incredible and we love that she has never resorted to surgical weight loss considering that she’s pushing 60. How does she do it?!
Brad Pitt – 52!
Does Brad Pitt really need an introduction?! You must be suffering from severe brain injury because there is no excuse. The man has won a grand total of 61 awards people and has been nominated 147 times so you better shape up. Can you believe he’s 52? He really doesn’t look it.
Gabrielle Union – 42!
Nebraska born and bred but Gabrielle is a true Hollywood starlet now. She has starred in many romantic comedies but in 2013, she was the lead character in the BET drama series Being Mary Jane, for which she has received critical acclaim and an NAACP Image Award. Now you consider that she’s just 42 years old, you know she’s got a great career still ahead of her. Plus with her rockin’ bod, she makes all weight loss program looks so darn easy.
Kim Cattrall – 60!
Samantha Jones as I live and breath. Off-screen Cattrall, however, is an English-Canadian actress who got her debut back in 1975 in the film Rosebud. Her role as Samantha on the HBO romantic comedy series, Sex and the City is when her career truly exploded. She received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations, winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Samantha. Oh yeah, she’s also 60 years old now. I know, right? Since when?!
Lucy Liu – 47!
In her career, Lucy Liu has won many awards for her incredible performances and rightly so, the woman’s a legend. She starred as Ling Woo in the TV show Ally McBeal and she went on to become one of Charlie’s Angels, she was also O-Ren Ishii in Kill Bill. She’s currently Joan Watson in the TV show Elementary, for which she won the Seoul International Drama Award for Best Actress. On top of that she’s a voice actress, director, producer, singer, artist and mother. Oh yeah, did we mention she’s 47 and still is gorgeous as can be?!
Geena Davis – 60!
Geena is the beautiful actress, film producer, writer, former fashion model, and former archer. She graced our screens with hits like Beetlejuice, Thelma and Louise</i, Stuart Little, and The Accidental Tourist, for which she won the 1988 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also starred in TV shows like Commander in Chief and Grey’s Anatomy. And now this incredible actress is the big 6-0. Crazy.
Julianne Moore – 55!
Everyone’s favorite Hollywood redhead, American-British actress is now 55! She’s been in so many great films since the early 90s that we just wrap our minds around her age. Moore is well known for her portrayals on screen as an emotionally troubled women for which she has received many accolades, including the 2014 Academy Award for Best Actress.
Salma Hayek – 50!
Ahem, have you seen what Salma Hayek looks like now? The woman is drop dead gorgeous and she’s only 50! She has been Hollywood royalty since 1991 and her 2002 film Frida secured her name as serious and powerful actress.
Stacey Dash – 49!
Since 1982, Dash has starred on various television and films roles, and even some music videos. Currently she is a co-host on Fox News Channel talk show Outnumbered. I don’t know about you but she really doesn’t look like she’s about to turn 50.
Susan Sarandon – 69!
Susan Sarandon is an absolute legend, pure Hollywood royalty. She is an Academy Award and BAFTA Award winner with a strong role in social and political activism for a variety of causes. In 1999, she was also appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and received the Action Against Hunger Humanitarian Award in 2006. She has also starred on Broadway, has starred in countless films and television shows for which she has received the highest praise and awards.
Sandra Bullock – 52!
Known as “America’s Sweetheart”, Sandra Bullock has starred in so many iconic roles that the list could go on for absolute ages. In 2005, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2014, Bullock was ranked No. 2 on Forbes’s list of most powerful actresses. She also won an Academy Award, 3 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, a Golden Globe Awards and 2 Screen Actors Guild Awards. How in the world she can still look as gorgeous as ever at 52 is staggering.
Jared Leto – 44!
Leto seems to have done it all so far in his life. He’s the lead vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and main songwriter for the band, Thirty Seconds to Mars. He’s also also directed music videos, such as the MTV Video Music Award–winning “The Kill”, “Kings and Queens”, and “Up in the Air”. Leto is also a method actor and his performance as a transgender woman in Dallas Buyers Club earned him an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actor. How in the world is he only 44?
Jerry Hall – 60!
Hall is a model and actress, and she’s also known for her former relationship with Mick Jagger with whom she has four children. How she’s 60 and still looks this good is beyond me! It’s not like she ever got surgical weight loss to look that good, I guess she’s just stringent with her diet and exercise.
John Stamos – 53!
We all know and love Uncle Jesse from Full House, although he has done other TV roles, it’s his role as Jesse that he’s best known for. As of 2015, he has actually been the executive producer of the Netflix series Fuller House, and we’re so glad that’s back on! Yes, of course, he’s on the show as Jesse and how he’s now 53 is beyond me.
Kris Jenner – 60!
If you don’t know who Kris Jenner is then you’re either suffering from severe brain injury or you’re just living under a rock. The Kardashian-Jenner family is notoriously known for their family drama show, Keeping up with the Kardashians, along with their impeccable fashion sense, striking good looks and millions in the bank. However, knowing that Kris is now 60 only makes me wonder, how old is everyone else??
Kylie Minogue – 48!
Look! It’s the “Princess of Pop” or “Goddess of Pop”! Kylie is the highest-selling Australian artist of all time according to the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Aside from singing, she’s also an actress and dancer. Seeing as she’s 48 and still looks incredible, she should consider opening her own weight loss program because we all wanna look like that when we’re pushing 50.
Lori Loughlin – 52!
Uncle Jeese’s wife! Yes, the one and only Aunt Becky. Lori Loughlin started modeling when she was just 11 years old and her acting career followed suit not long after. She is also known for her role as Debbie Wilson on the The CW series 90210 but in our hearts, she’ll always be Aunt Becky. Loughlin has two teenage daughters and still looks crazy good at 52.
Mark Wahlberg – 45!
The list of work that Mark Wahlberg has done since 1990 is a mile long and if you can’t think of a single one, then you must have one severe brain injury because that’s ludicrous. Moving on from his extensive acting career, we’ll mention that Mark is married to Rhea Durham and the couple have four kids together.
Owen Wilson – 47!
When did Owen Wilson turn 47?! This hilarious actor is well known for his frat-pack performances and his numerous films with Ben Stiller. Wilson is also a producer and screenwriter.
Ralph Macchio – 54!
When did The Karate Kid get so old? I’m seeing my entire childhood flash before my eyes right now, no seriously, how is he 54? He’s never had to turn to surgical weight loss as his martial arts kept him in shape as did his 2011 fourth place finish on Dancing with the Stars.
Raquel Welch – 76!
Rachel Welch may have started out as a sex symbol (and she pretty much still is one) but she has portrayed strong female characters in a lot of her films. To think that she started her acting career back in 1959 is crazy and she’s now 76 and still going strong.
Rob Lowe – 52!
Rob Lowe has starred in some of my favorite movies and TV shows, probably some of yours too! Let’s see, he was in The Outsiders, St. Elmo’s Fire, Wayne’s World Tommy Boy, and Austin Powers. Plus countless more films! On TV, he starred in The West Wing (best show EVER), Brothers & Sisters, and Parks and Recreation. He also has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. All of that before 52 and counting.
Elijah Wood – 35!
It’s Frodo all grown up. Sorry, I just had to. Of course he has starred in other roles and he is also a big supporter of campaigns like Keep a Child Alive and ALDO/YouthAIDS. And now he’s 35 which is just shocking cause I swear Lord of the Rings just came out yesterday. I know, I know, bad joke. I’m sorry.

Since the age of 19, Tom Cruise has been gracing our screens with beautiful and powerful roles that leave us with goosebumps each time. In 2006, he was ranked in Forbes magazine as the world’s most powerful celebrity, which totally makes sense.

You know him as the martial artist, actor, film producer and screenwriter and if you don’t know that then you might wanna watch out, he can give you severe brain injury with just one finger. The man knows how to kick butt, I’m just sayin’. Also, he’s 76 years old?! When in the world did that happen?
Dylan McDermott – 54!
Oh hey, cutie. You probably recognize him from the TV show The Practice, which earned him a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series. He’s also engaged to the model and actress Maggie Q so he’s doing well for a 54 year old. Really well.
